Discover Scuba
Want to try scuba diving and see how you like it? Sign up for one of our Discover Scuba Diving sessions. In addition to learning basic skills and getting familiar with the equipment, we have lots of fun in a relaxed, safe pool environment. All equipment is included.
This is not a certification, but a chance to try it out and see if you like it.
We offer Discover Scuba classes on Tuesday and Friday nights from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. If you are interested please call to reserve you spot. We do not list everything on the calendar as we do these most every Tuesday and Friday night, so please ask if you do not see it listed.

DISCOVER SCUBA EXPERIENCE

(PADI is an international scuba dive education and certification organization) www.padi.com (Professional Assoc Diving Instructors)
Discover Scuba is a quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world in the safety of our indoor heated pool. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you'll learn all the steps it takes to be a PADI certified diver.
Your cost is $85.00 and your experience will last approximately 2 hours.
We typically offer our Discover Scubas on Tuesday or Friday nights 6:00 – 8:00 pm
You will learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.
You will register online with PADI and complete your medical, waivers and a short comprehensive academic session.
Then you will come into the Dive Center ~
- There will be a short talk about the science of diving and how it affects your ears and breathing underwater.
- You will go over the scuba equipment you use to dive with and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.
- Find out what it's like to breathe underwater.
- Learn key skills that you'll use during every scuba dive.
- Have fun swimming around and exploring.
Once this is paid, we will send a link for you to register with PADI for your Discover Scuba Experience. (This takes aprox 1 hour) and has your medical, waivers and academic session with it.
If you decide you would like to move onto an OPEN WATER course we will credit $50.00 from your Discover Scuba towards your Open Water course (needs to be with-in 6 mos of Discover Scuba course)
