Congratulations to our newest certified divers who finished their dives this past weekend at Dutch Springs.  Thanks to Mike, Scott and Gerry for teaching this impressive group.

We had a lot of fun diving on the Gypsy Blood on Saturday.  We didn't get to our intended destination, the Algol, due to rough seas.  But we did get two dives on the SS Mohawk.  Best of all was the fun hanging out with fellow divers and Captain Jim and the crew of the Gypsy Blood.

We will be diving the Algol on Saturday June 16th from the Gypsy Blood.  This is a large and impressive wreck with lots to see in depths ranging from 70'-140'.  The Algol was a navy transport ship from WWII until the 1960's.  It was intentionally sunk in 1991 as part of the NJ Artificial Reef Program.

A good synopsis of the wreck can be found on njscuba.net:

Contact us at the shop if you would like to join us for the dives on Saturday.
